Alexa Pontus

Alexa has spent the majority of her career performing business valuations for a variety of purposes including ESOPs, litigation, and tax and shareholder planning. As a strong believer in the power of employee ownership, Alexa’s current practice is focused on valuations for ESOP administration and ESOP implementations. Having performed valuations for companies from under $1.0 million in revenue to over $2.0 billion in revenue, her clients span many industries including construction, manufacturing, business services, and architecture and engineering.
Alexa is a certified appraisal professional holding the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential from the American Society of Appraisers and the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a member of The ESOP Association.
Alexa graduated from Wheaton College in 2016 with honors. While there, she was a member of the varsity Women’s Golf Team. Golf continues to be one of her hobbies, which she enjoys playing with her husband, friends, and colleagues. Outside of work, you might find Alexa trying out a new restaurant, searching for a new bottle of wine to add to her cellar, attending local trivia night, or spending time with her cat, Judy.
